Brad Gibson's BG Radio Yachts & Sails have been at the forefront in radio yachting products for the past 7 years in the Australian marketplace.
His IOM and Marblehead designs 'Disco' and 'Boogie', along with BG sails have proven themselves to be highly competitive within any competition, both nationally and internationally.

Sailing has allways been the sport in Brad's life from early childhood.
Father Kerry has been a Sailmaker for the past 40+ years gaining an Australia wide reputation for some of the fastest dinghy & keelboat sails on the market, with over 250 National & State Championships to prove this !
Mother Sue is of the well known "Riley" sailing family in Sydney. The Riley Marine Fittings range has constantly been at the forefront of the Skiff & Dinghy racing scene in the Australian marketplace for over 50 years without having to resort to the flood marketing of their rivals .

Lessons learned through building boats with grandfather Len Riley, then rigging / tuning sails and spars to them with father Kerry set the platform to Brad's sailing career.

Brad's sailing career dates back to the early 80's where he began in the Flying Ant class on Botany Bay in Sydney's south. Over the next decade and a half he skippered boats to success in many classes including Cherubs, 14 and 18 foot skiffs.

Radio Sailing
Since the age of 13 I have been actively involved in the Radio Controlled Yachting scene.
Racing with the East Coast Sailing Assoc in Sydney's south, his first new yacht was an East Coast 12 metre during the mid 80's.
In late 97 after much time taken up with skiff sailing, Brad borrowed a mould and built his first One Metre. Not long after launching the boat, he knew with his skiff/dinghy racing background he could design and build his own boats and sails to be competitive with anything on the market.
