Two Aussie Rules games were played in Japan in 1986 and 1987. The matches were dubbed the Aussie Bowl. The Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation produced three cards for the 1986 game showing action shots from Carlton, Hawthorn and Essendon games. The cards were titled Aussie Bowl '86. One card was produced for the 1987 game showing an action photo from a Hawthorn v Essendon game. It was titled Aussie Bowl '87.
