Again the players are identified by a nick name on the front of the card. Parallel sets with this series included the HOT set as with the 1996 series and a red glow series. A special blue glow series was available by redeeming several of the Hot cards. The hypervision panel on the back of each card could be viewed by using one of four different hypervision viewers. The cards were also issued in Sunicrust bread. |

This series again shows full colour player photos with the Best & Fairest subset being part of the main series. A Premiership Predictor competition was run in conjunction with this series where the holder of the Premiership Predictor card showing the premier teams name received a large team photo card. The Adelaide Crows appeared on this card. The Case cards in this series showed the same photos as the head to head cards but they did not have a metallic finish. |

They came presented in a black folder labelled 'Collingwood-Team of the Century, with the cards housed in Ultra-Pro plastic sheets. Only 5000 sets were issued. |
