This 24 card series explores the social history and contribution that waves of immigration have made to the city of Darebin past and present and was instituted by the Darebin Ethnic Communities Council. Two of these cards are football related with one showing Doug Nicholls of Northcote and Fitzroy, and another showing a depiction of Marn Grook, said to be a contributing factor to the style of Australian Football.

This card series was issued by the Herald Sun newspaper in Melbourne but was produced by the Select company. Cards are slightly small that the standard modern trade cards and show close up action images of leading AFL players. Four gold cards were issued as part of the standard set and each packet came with a checklist card showing a different player image.

This series shows action shots of players with statistics that assist in playing the Team 2004 competition, run as per the previous year with prizes of silver, gold and blue series of cards. The collectors’ edition packets contained standard, silver and gold cards and this season, a special red capatin insert series. The format differs only slightly from the previous year with the main difference being the straight orientation of the team name rather than angled.
