The flag images within are
by no means exhaustive and are meant as an educational guide only.
Where possible, the flag images are of recognised regions and
not of specific groups or organisations (organisations will be
listed in italics). This page does not concern itself with
irredentist movements, whose flags generally mirror those of the
"mother country" (e.g. Albanians in Kosovo and Macedonia;
Hungarians in Transylvania, etc.).
The title 'Stateless Nations'
has been carefully considered, and describes regions or localities
with a separate national consciousness. However, it must be noted
that, in many cases, any separatist or independentist feeling
may not be shared by the majority of inhabitants.

site are my own, scrawled with my own crayons, and do not necessarily
reflect, nor are necessarily endorsed by, the respective nationalities
or movements detailed. Similarly, I am not responsible for the
