Each year the AMCC runs the “Autochamps” NNL Automotive Modelling Show. This is a non-competitive show for cars, trucks and motorbikes, and is run NNL style whereby the viewing public and model entrants vote for their choice of model in each category. There is no official judging in this show. In 2008 the Autochamps Automotive Modelling Show will be run on Sunday September 21 from 10.00am to 3.30pm. There will also be a swap & sell for all, and traders’ stands for professional businesses. Venue is St. Michael’s Parish Hall, 268 High Street, Ashburton (enter from Victory Boulevard). Melway map reference is 60 E10. Entrants may enter their models between 9am and 10.30am. The cost per entry is $2 (capped at $10). The general public is not admitted until 10.30a.m. Public admission is $3. Children twelve and under free. Winners announced approximately 3pm. Club members may also wish to obtain a table at the swap & sell for only $10 per table. Traders may obtain tables for $20 per table. Tables may be obtained on the day from 9am. |
