Heathrow Airport, London, England - Dec 6
Two mysteries are linked up in an unusual way when the
Department S operators are put on a new case. One is
the disappearance of a Swedish scientist named Franz
Brieker; the other is the strange death of a financier,
Gerald Blain, who is killed by a jet aircraft when he
is found walking aimlessly across a busy airport runway.
Jason befriends Blain's niece Susan, who tells him that
her uncle had disappeared on a number of occasions during
the weeks leading up to his death. When both Jason and
Stewart also begin experiencing memory loss, Annabelle
wonders how they will ever solve the case if her colleagues
keep forgetting everything they've learned.
