Many critics did not like "Prospero's Books", mainly due to the
amount of nudity and the denseness of the film. Most people, on viewing
the film, think it is pornography simply because they take it at face value.
Cinema goers do not think about what they see. They hardly ever take the
time to think about the film. Why do audiences not think? Is this a reflection
of how our culture has become a thing of the moment or is it just that a
television doped society has become very relaxed. Is society too t ired
to think?
