The region enjoys moderate weather year round. Plenty
of good value accommodation is available throughout the region at most
times of the year. The whale watching season can cause shortages of
accommodation, so it is wise to book early should you plan to be in
Hervey Bay at that time. The
styles of accommodation are quite varied and include caravan parks,
backpacker hostels, motels , holiday units and resorts. The region is
now becoming a popular destination for seminars because of the
