Wedding receptions and gala events usually require Instrumental music only

String bands, harpists, pianists and solo musicians are often used for providing instrumental background music, it is rare to find an alternative to a non-string band that can perform an extensive repertoire of instrumental only music as well as some light dance music

The Viva bands are an alternative to a string band, they perform popular show tunes, easy listening, Jazz, Swing, Latin, Salsa, French, Spanish and Cuban music, they can also provide some light dance music if required, they perform at many weddings, corporate and community events, reviews are provided on this website about the Viva bands from brides and venue managers

A happy couple held their wedding ceremony on the headland at Warriewood (photo) Viva the duo provided music for them 1 hour before, during and after the ceremony. Afterwards the duo provided dinner music for 2 hours at their wedding reception at Warriewood surf club. The couple had practised dancing to a waltz so the duo played the beautiful Italian Waltz "The Godfather Waltz". A rock band took over to play a 40 min set of raging dance music at the end of the evening
