This optional module allows anybody to request work to be done, from any computer terminal in the organisation. The request for work is entered into one screen and is transmitted to the ACAM Plus or ACAM Basic system for approval and production of a Work Order. The full power of the ACAM database is available to the user to collect as much or as little information for the request. Requests can be submitted with anything from a full identification of the asset and job required through to a single descriptive paragraph entered by the operator, Work Request will gather as much information about the request (including the name of the operator making the request) automatically and present this to the ACAM operator for completion.
Once a request has been issued as a Work Order the Work Request system keeps the request is its own history database and allows the original requesting operator to check on the progress of the ACAM job. |
