ACROBATS explores
co-dependency in relationships. A husband and wife start their acrobatic/ballroom
dancing number for yet another performance. During their routine, in
a precarious position, the husband asks for a divorce. How will the
couple, and the act, survive the crisis?

THE LINE is a comedy focusing
on the games people play in order to come first.
By being first, do they discover the meaning of life, or do they simply
get the opportunity to go to the footy? These bigger than life characters,
(a dysfunctional couple, a footy addict, a thug, and a disturbed genius)
are using tactics which are destructive, idiotic, conniving, obsessive,
violent and sexy. They are all drawing on their human survival instincts.
This one hour play is a crazy mélange of lipstick feminism, spousal
abuse, suicide, Mozart, paranoia, sexual harassment, footy games, and
being 'Simply the Best' ...very Sydney!
The spectators are constantly torn between amusement and apprehension.
'What's next?' they wonder, as they try to recover from their roaring
laughter.
