Catherine completed her B.Mus. (Honours) at Sydney University in 1997, performing the Saint-Saens’ cello concerto  with the Sydney University Orchestra. As a member of the SBS Youth Orchestra she has toured Europe, Taiwan and the Pacific and has participated in several recordings for SBS television. While at university she commenced learning the viola da gamba with Jennifer Eriksson and has performed on this instrument in several ensembles including the Renaissance Players, Conservatorium Baroque Orchestra, Salut!Baroque, Sydney Consort and Sarabande. She has also performed in live broadcasts for the ABC. Catherine has partnered Jennifer throughout the Marais Project playing continuo and duets.
