Laura
Bell is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Music (performance) at the
Sydney Conservatorium of Music with Hans-Dieter Michatz. In 2004, she
received a merit scholarship from the University of Sydney for her
outstanding UAI, as well as the Women's College Music Scholarship. In
London, Laura was involved in masterclasses with Pamela Thorby at the
Guild Hall (Palladian ensemble), and Ashley Solomon at the Royal College
of Music (Florilegium). As Part of Musica Viva, Laura has performed with
the Blue Mountains Jacaranda Consort, and has toured for the Queensland
Arts Council with medieval ensemble Pastance. She has been guest soloist
for the Penrith Symphony orchestra performing Karl Jenkin's Imagined
Oceans, and was featured as part of the Pini, Hazelwood and Friends 2003
Sydney concert series. |
