Neil Diamond, whose Greek debut last summer was one of the most acclaimed shows of the season, has been added to the Greek Theatre's line up popular musical attractions for this season, according to James A Doolittle, general director of the Greek Theatre Association

Promotion for the August 1972 shows were the heaviest of any of his dates up to that time. Neil expanded his set to around two hours, with no opening act (the Everly Brothers were originally supposed to appear) and no intermission.

All ten Greek Theatre shows were sold out in advance, with scalpers asking at the time for $50 per ticket
