• Emigration, September 1959, Australia. Emigrated to Australia 1959. Left Brehmerhaven on Castel Felice landed Melbourne Victoria Australia with husband and 4 children. Oldest Daughter Margaret remained behind to complete schooling. Followed 2 years later and settled permanently.

Maria married Johannes Franz THIMM, son of Franz THIMM and Wilhelmine RÖTTGES, on 14 July 1937 in Haarlem Holland.¹ (Johannes Franz THIMM was born on 29 August 1912 in Bottrop, Westphalia, Germany ², died on 1 December 1981 in Bochum, Westphalia, Germany ² and was buried in Bochum, Westphalia, Germany.)
