Leis Park
Leis Park is on the southern bank of the North Pine River, less than half an hour north of Brisbane.
Getting there
Heading north from Brisbane along the Gympie Arterial Road, take the Gympie Road exit (just before the "Bunnings" store). If you miss the turn-off, just continue up the Gympie Arterial to the Strathpine Road exit and turn left there (Strathpine Road joins Gympie Road after about 1 km). After about 7 kilometres you'll drive through the Todds Road/Lawnton Pocket Road intersection and about 600 metres later, just before you get to the bridge, turn left into Leis Parade then right into the park.
Inside the park just follow the road under the rail bridge. It loops around towards the river then comes back under rail bridge. The ramp is halfway between the road and rail bridges.
Launching
There is a narrow, steep, concrete boat ramp on the road-bridge side of the carpark, but with canoes and kayaks you can launch from the gently sloping bank straight out the front of the carpark. This is very shallow and the bank is firm to walk on.

Facilities
There are picnic shelters, a playground, and toilets in the main reserve area.
