| Report: | Hit the water just after 5:30am launching through a bit of weed, most of which ended up in my lap. |
| | Hooked up on a 9cm gold Scorpion at 6am. The fight initially felt like I'd hooked a lump of seaweed until it got its first sight of the kayak. I let it run a few times to wear it out before I brought it alongside and tailed a 54cm School Mackerel. |
| | I continued trolling the area until 6:40am but had no other action. |
