The Committee is elected at the Annual General Meeting, normally held on the third Sunday in March at noon (date will be confirmed). Nominations for positions are called in the preceding November, closing in February, at the respective General Meetings.

Keith Fry joined the Association at Elizabeth & Salisbury Sub Section in 1982 & in that year became a committeeman & has been a member of the committee continuously ever since. He has held positions of office as follows: - 1982 to 1984 inclusive, Committeeman. 1985 to 1987 inclusive as Vice President, 1988 to 1990 inclusive as Sub Section President, He held office as Immediate Past President in 1991, & in 1992 became Vice President, & President again in 1993. In 1994 he again became Immediate Past President & in June of that year through to June 2003 served as Sub Section Treasurer. For 2003 & 2004 he served as Committeeman, & in 2005/6 became Sub Section Treasurer & Membership Registrar. He has also held positions such as State Councilor & Conference Delegate, Property & Assets Officer, Membership Registrar & Licensee Manager. He also served as a Representative of the Elizabeth Anzac Committee from 1985 to 2003 inclusive, becoming Chairman of that Committee 1986/87 & 90/91 & 1995 to 2003 inclusive. From 1987 until its demise in 2005 has represented the Sub Section as a member of Unity of Services Association of Elizabeth, becoming President in 1989 & holding that Office through to 2001 inclusive.In 1993 Keith was awarded an Association Diploma of Merit, Certificate of Appreciation in 1995 & Life Membership in 1997. In October 2005, he was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal. In 2008 he was awarded the National Presidents Commendation.  Keith began his Naval Service at Recruit School H.M.A.S CERBERUS & also served a short period at HMAS PENGUIN with a posting to HMAS ALBATROSS, for a Course on Survival At Sea Equipment, a further posting to CERBERUS for a Patrol Boat Gun Maintenance Course, & then a Posting to HMAS ENCOUNTER as Ships Company. He returned to CERBERUS one more time for his Petty Officers Course & topped his Course. He finished his time in the RAN with the rank of LSWM as Ships Company at the old original Naval Establishment of HMAS CAIRNS which was located in Grafton St Cairns. He also served in HMA Ships QUEENBOROUGH, DUCHESS, , YARRA (3) and PARRAMATTA (2).

Robin Wood joined the Association, and the Elizabeth & Salisbury Sub-Section, in 1971 and became President from 1984 thru 1987. He then served as Secretary from 1989 to 1990, and again as President in 1991. Being a committed Association member, he again served as Secretary from 1994 thru 1996, and President from 2000 to 2003. He was rewarded with Life Membership in 1992, a Diploma of Merit in 1993 and the Meritorious Service Medal in 1997. He also served as the Sub-Section Bar Manager from 1983 - 1997, and State Councillor from 1983 to the present. For tireless service, in addition to his other commendations, he was given a Certification of Apprecation by the Sub-Section in 2001. During his Naval career in the RN, he served in HM Ships COLLINGWOOD, ARIEL, PORCHESTER CASTLE, DAEDALUS, BLACKCAP, EAGLE, OSPREY and VICTORY
