The Captain Waller Dinner/Lunch is an annual event that commemorates the heroic action of Captain Waller and his crew of HMAS PERTH (1). This year it was held on held 28th Feb 2009 & was the 67th Anniversary of the start of the Battle of Sunda Strait. A ususally well attended event and a good time enjoyed by all.

The Friday Night meal is usually a great get together and this event was held on the 6th of March 2009.

Anzac Dawn Service for the first time in more than 20 years had to be moved inside the clubrooms as the heavens opened up with a deluge of rain just before the service commenced. Keith Fry, his son (both of whom served in the RAN) and his eldest grandson.

The Friday Night meal is usually a great get together and this event was held on the 3rd of July 2009" with a Treasurer in Training with the current President/Treasurer and the volunteer galley crew.

Ex President, Graham McCabe at his 70th Birthday at the club and the 'Seals'; an 8 ball team, all Club members, who after only being in the local competition for 1 year won the grand final. Followed by the occasion of the RAFA 1200 Club Battle of Britain Celebrations Function.
