The word spread about the event and we had a good roll up, perfect weather and a number of suppliers showing off their wares. Garry Kellett & Michael Towell showed a variety of equipment stocked by Kelletts Hobbies including a prototype of a new 3 d model which have just arrived at the shop. Showing off some more specialized items was Zdenek from Euromodels. His Alfa Models MIG 15 and Lavochkin La-7 were both demonstrated, the performance of the MIG was simply amazing. Look for his ad in RCMN if you are interested.
The barbecue and drinks did a lively trade and made a bit of a profit which paid for the club Christmas party. Flyers took advantage of the conditions to put in countless flights all day and the day was considered a big success. With better planning & advertising this year it can only get better.
