Bilbo is back again with more digital Pictures to celebrate the
Twentieth Year of the Burgerbahn!
Over Under Sideways Down - A Four Way Meet!. Roco DRG Electric Triebwagen eIT 1999 (circa 1930's) is in operation whilst on the bridge above, Class 18 Dampflokomotive heads a Roco Pike set down the mountain incline whilst above that, Fleishmann green P8 brings a set of Rheingold express coaches into Hamburger from the west whilst on a fourth level, Roco E91 Guterzuglokomotive hauls a long military train
Green P8 enters Hamburger amongst a flurry of steam locomotive action.
A distant view of the previous picture, showing the full Adlerwerke in the background

Crowded Platform 7&8 at Hamburger Bahnhof - On this platform and on the steps are some newcomers: the 120+ figures from Preiser's "At the Station" box of unpainted figures. Instead of plastic stands (which my other people dont mind because at least they can be placed in a new location promptly), the new people, apart from the clever ones which can manage all by themselves to stand up, are stuck down with a 1:87 scaled down 30cm wad of chewing gum on each foot (actually blu-tac but they dont know the difference because they wont be eating the stuff) - I felt rather cruel doing this to them, as even a small blob of chewing gum plays such havoc with us mortals.
A little to the right of previous shot
Another angle showing a double-slip crossover which were popular at the time
Hamburger Bahnhof viewed from the east - note the platform at the left (No.4) which great length can fit a multitude of coaches
Cows moove aside as E91 enters Fries from the mountains
