Melbourne
The Crown Casino has excellent accommodation, food and entertainment, including bands, cinemas, pokies etc so it’s a good choice but somewhat costly. There is convenience in the restaurants but you have to book early.
About 100 metres from it is the Holiday Inn
http://www.holidaycity.com/centra-melbourne/which also has superb food, accommodation and pricing also on the Yarra River, trams and taxis run past its doors so transport is excellent.
It has many conference rooms, nice surrounds and service, I personally prefer it to the Casino.
In 2 minutes walk your at the Casino anyway, its just across the bridge.
