To all my dear friends.
But I think I did lift myself out of the quagmire. I wrote this poem
tonight, and it sure did help.
I would like to share it with you all now.
Sometimes we find life just too hard...and we think nothing can get any worse.
We all have those days, where they start off badly and get worse and worse.
Well..today was one such a day for me.
Have you ever felt unworthy, unloved or afraid?
Have you ever felt hatred or anger or shame?
Have you ever felt lost in a quagmire of mud?
I have.
Have you ever been caught in materiality?
Have you ever been stressed with too much to see?
Have you ever been lost in this quagmire of mud?
I have.
I know there has to be somewhere a way out.
And my Guidance has given me assurance of that.
They told me that somehow I have to evolve
And this is the way that is easiest, I'm told.
Have you ever felt pushed to your limit of stress?
Have you ever felt something was pushing till you curse?
Have you ever felt, surely things can't get any worse?
I have.
Then suddenly you realise that it's all part of the test.
God's given you the best part 'cause you're stronger than the rest.
She knew we would conquer, and surely we will.
And that is my challenge - my path and my skill.
For if She'd not known that I could follow this path
Then She wouldn't have given me this dirty old task.
She knew I'd get out of the quagmire I was in
And placed at my feet, the very best for me to win.
I rolled in the mud, got lost in its stench
Then suddenly I knew why I was here and for what test
I saw the beginnings of my time here on earth
And knew that I'd chosen this before my own birth.
I knew in that instant that I'd chosen to learn
What life was like on the earth I was born.
I'd fought and I'd struggled, but the only way out
Was to face it, accept it, and turn it about.
I fought hard to challenge, the mess I was in...
And before I ev'n knew it I had conquered my sin.
I accepted the "me" that stood before me now.
And knew that the colours of earth were on my brow.
I'd won. And I knew that the day spirit called,
Those colours of life would be with me to hold
And I'd wear them with pride as my journey I recalled
And I greeted those in spirit whose assistance had been all.
Have you ever wondered, why life seems to hard?
Just take if from me, there are reasons we hold this card.
We've chosen - I know this, for I saw it to be true.
And the glory of victory will surely see us through.
If you feel the challenge of life in your path
Accept it and face it, and get out of it's wrath.
There's someone I know who has faced this same path.
You have.
