Written during Chrissy's trip to the Rocky Mountains
in British Columbia, Canada.
August 1998

Majestic and tall
The snow forming white
As I watch and wonder
The stark bare mountain
The pines stand tall
But the rugged beauty
A raven flies o'head.
The snow-crested mountain tops
Like a fortress of old,
Standing above us
These mountains so bold.
Crisp glaciers of ice
Are like beacons of splendor
With patches of pure white.
At the beauty I view
The soft fluffy clouds
On the mountain drift free.
A top of mass pines
Are seen like a beacon
In their rugged terrain.
In their smart greenery
Trimming the mountain
Like a garland of green.
Of this rocky terrain
Remains splendid, untouched
By the hands of a man.
The sides of the road
Are dotted with tall pines
And sprinklings of gold.
Seen further north
Were but one of the beauties
God created on earth.
