You can be a son or daughter
Or a Mummy or a Dad,

And this sometimes makes you sad.

You may be an employer or an employee
Or a housewife or a sporting fan.
You may be a friend or enemy,
Whether a woman or a man.

You feel sometimes you're none of these,
You don't know who you are.
You have a name but you cannot see
How it relates to where you've been so far.

You sense inside you are someone else
And you faintly hear your name.
You have a knowing deep with
Of origins that had some fame.

You are the neighbour, you are the stranger
You see pass by each day.
You are the ones you judge and mock
For these are on your way.

Who are you? You question yet you know
For through dreams and memories full,
You see yourself as everyone
You've lived lives rich and dull.

Suddenly you see the light -
You know just who you are.
Your inner voice has called your name
And you connect with your highest star.

Your name - it resonates within
For your heart has opened wide.
And the knowing that you felt deep within
Is LOVE - the name you cannot hide!
