15-05-2998: So much
going at present! On the health front, I’ve just had to hand in my drivers’
licence as my eyesight didn’t pass the minimum legal requirement this time
around. Ah well – had to happen sometime, I guess, although it’s mighty
inconvenient after twenty years behind the wheel. Still, better to use public
transport than end up causing an accident. On the plus side, the walking I do
every day between home, work and various train stations is helping me shed
some kilos, so my health seems to be benefiting greatly. Ironic, given that
it’s my health that got me banned from driving!
On the writing front I’m still
churning out reviews for HorrorScope, reading for this year’s Australian Shadows Award, hacking away at my online zomblog/novel,
One Day at a Time, and also
working on two very exciting and extremely hush-hush projects (for Brimstone
Press and the AHWA respectively) which I’ll be able to announce shortly.
Occasionally, I’m spending
time with my family and sleeping.
