I've got lots of CS-friends who I've semi-convinced to work on a free software project. Just, they can't really find one. I think we need a big todo server! Perhaps we can extract TODO lists from tarballs and/or source rpms/debs? Then we'd need to make them searchable, by: * program name * todo itself * documentation (to find relevant projects) Also, it'd be good to have lots of links (eg: the todo item -> project -> mailing list, etc.) Implementing this is probably just a matter of converting a big set of tarballs into a big website, and providing a search engine on top?
