In recent years, we have researched our Social Dancing History and presented a massed display of the findings at the National Folk Festival – “Dancing Through the Years” Series 1, 2, 3 and are now planning Series 4. This has been done in
conjunction with Dave de Santi and the Wongawilli musicians who initiated the
Pioneer Performer Series with the assistance of the Wongawilli Colonial Dancers.
We give special thanks to the dancers from other Colonial and Social Dance Groups and interested musicians who have taken part in the massed display each year.
