with delicate

This white burgundy comes from the Cote
Maconnaise.
The wine maker has gone for a
straight
Chardonnay here with an excellent
result.
Golden green in colour with
complex
aromas of bitter almond and lime fruit. On the
palate it is
well balanced, fresh and elegant
that has a
rich feel and good length. Good
with fish,
seafood, poultry and hard cheeses.
McWilliams
Mount Pleasant Hunter
Valley

and
distinctively regional, made only from

The 2000 vintage has a complex

exhibiting fresh stone fruit, fig and nut
flavours with
a subtle creamy texture. The
quality of
the vintage is reflected in the purity a
nd the length
of the fruit flavours. This wine
is ideal with

chicken and pork.
Red Wines
Louis Max
Mercurey Domaine La Marche
1999
Mercurey Domaine La Marche 1999 was
produced in
the Burgundy - Côte
Chalonnaise
area using 100% Pinot Noir
grapes. It is
a deep and intense cherry red in
colour. Its
bouquet is powerful, with
concentrated
aromas of raspberry, blackberry,
liquorice and vanilla. In the mouth, this wine has
a full and
fleshy feel with a pleasant taste of
wood and a
good balance between fine
tannins and
fruit. Enjoy this wine with red
meat, game or
ripe cheeses.
Vieux
Château des Combes 1999, Saint-
Emilion
Grand Cru
The vineyard of Vieux Château des Combes is
situated on
one of the best sites in Saint
Emilion, on
the right bank of the Dorgogne in
Bordeaux,
France. This well structured wine is
made from
predominately Merlot grapes, with
a smaller
portion of Cabernet-Franc and
Cabernet
Sauvignon, which gives the wine a
softness with
red fruit characters. It is an
excellent
accompaniment to roasted beef,
poultry and
braised lamb.
Port
Dow’s Late
Bottled Vintage Port 1995/
1996
