Champagne

Champagne Deutz, Brut Classic
This award winning champagne features

lovely aromas and flavours of pear and citrus

fruit. Layered with toasted hazelnut, honey

and sweet vanilla notes, the wine is balanced

by refreshing acidity with a long, lingering

finish. It is a perfect aperitif and goes well

with delicate dishes.

White Wines

Louis Max Pouilly Vinzelles 2000
This white burgundy comes from the Cote

Maconnaise. The wine maker has gone for a

straight Chardonnay here with an excellent

result. Golden green in colour with

complex aromas of bitter almond and lime fruit. On the

palate it is well balanced, fresh and elegant

that has a rich feel and good length. Good

with fish, seafood, poultry and hard cheeses.

McWilliams Mount Pleasant Hunter

Valley Chardonnay 2000
Mount Pleasant Chardonnays are high quality

and distinctively regional, made only from

fruit grown in premium Hunter Valley

vineyards. The 2000 vintage has a complex

palate exhibiting fresh stone fruit, fig and nut

flavours with a subtle creamy texture. The

quality of the vintage is reflected in the purity a

nd the length of the fruit flavours. This wine

is ideal with heavier white meats such as
chicken and pork.

Red Wines

Louis Max Mercurey Domaine La Marche
1999

Mercurey Domaine La Marche 1999 was

produced in the Burgundy - Côte

Chalonnaise area using 100% Pinot Noir

grapes. It is a deep and intense cherry red in

colour. Its bouquet is powerful, with

concentrated aromas of raspberry, blackberry,
liquorice and vanilla. In the mouth, this wine has

a full and fleshy feel with a pleasant taste of

wood and a good balance between fine

tannins and fruit. Enjoy this wine with red

meat, game or ripe cheeses.

Vieux Château des Combes 1999, Saint-

Emilion Grand Cru
The vineyard of Vieux Château des Combes is

situated on one of the best sites in Saint

Emilion, on the right bank of the Dorgogne in

Bordeaux, France. This well structured wine is

made from predominately Merlot grapes, with

a smaller portion of Cabernet-Franc and

Cabernet Sauvignon, which gives the wine a

softness with red fruit characters. It is an

excellent accompaniment to roasted beef,

poultry and braised lamb.

Port

Dow’s Late Bottled Vintage Port 1995/

1996
Dow’s is a family owned business that traces

its’ history back to 1798. This Dow’s Port

comes from the same vineyards that produce

Vintage Port, when a vintage is declared. It is

a full rich Port with spicy ripe fruit flavours,

well rounded on the palate and with an

elegant aromatic nose.

CX Signature Drinks

Pacific Sunrise

A refreshing combination of

champagne and Drambuie with

the zest of orange and lemon.

Cathay Delight
A kiwifruit based non-alcoholic drink with coconut juice and a
touch of fresh mint.

Cathay Pacific aims to offer a diverse selection of wines on

board - but apologies if on some flights a certain wine is
