After picking up our boarding passes from the tour leader, we went through immigration and security check. Arrived at the gate about 20 minutes before boarding. Then saw B-HOY (Cathay’s Asia’s World City B744) arriving at gate B5, made me really want to get on that aircraft rather than this one.... anyhow, maybe another time. We then boarded the aircraft at 1853 and push-back at 1913. Engine start-up was at 1915. We then taxied to RWY06 for the departure. Take-off was at 1928. Dinner was served on this flight. As with CX460, the flight was short and there was no choice in Economy Class and no menu. The dinner consisted of the following.

The meal was nice and this time, it wasn’t as rushed. We actually still have not begun descent after trays were retrieved. The Economy Class seats onboard this aircraft do not have the new features as on the A346. The PTV was the 6 inches type with a fixed PTV controls. I’ve also noticed that there were head wind of close to 200Km/hThis aircraft also does not have the new Business Class. 

Descent came at 2018 and gears down at 2047. We then flew past Hong Kong making the approach into RWY25R and landing at 2057. After landing, a quick taxi to gate 69 as it was close to where we left the runway. This flight then left from the same gate as CX872 to San Francisco.
