Cairo is 2 hours behind Dubai. After the half day tour in Dubai, we returned to the airport for our flight to Cairo. There was a security check point before check-in. It scans all the check-in luggage and carry-on baggage. Since we have been checked through to Cairo, we went past check-in to immigration control then another security check point. These were done relatively quickly since the airport was not busy at the time. Boarding was called not long after we reached our gate. Boarding was through an aerobridge this time.

The Cabin
crews on this flight was better than those on the HKG/DXB flights.
Although the meal content is different to those I was used to, I found
that they tasted quite good. The salad, rice and bread were all prepared
the Middle East way, a nice change =D, I enjoyed this meal very much.
Flight was smooth and the landing was much better than on A6-EAB.
After the
arrival into Cairo International airport, I felt like I've gone back in
time. The terminal was very dull, the walls and floor was covered with
tile and the lighting was not bright. The terminal didn't feel clean
either... Passport control took a long time. Must have been over 20
minutes at least. There were around 6-8 counters at the place and the
queues were really long. I wonder how what the place would look like if
there were more than one flight arriving at the same time =_=... After
passing through passport control, we were at the baggage reclaim and
someone has already collected our luggage (probably because he saw the
tour group sticker on it @_@) and he asked us for $$$... I suppose this is
a common sight in poorer nations =(. Then when we were all set to go, the
tour leader said he could not find his luggage -_-... and he claimed his
luggage was gold in colour despite we all agreed it was silver colour when
we found it in the end... what a tour leader @_@...
