Billabong Boardgamers November 17th, 1997 Present: Doug, David, Janet, Alan, Julian Previous session reportDavid Coutts writes: Last night the Billabong Boardgamers were kind enough to indulge me and we playtested an original game design by me - 6 Billion (TM). So there will be no usual game session report from us this week. All I can really tell about the game is that it relates to exponential population growth and the expansion of the human race into our solar system, and it plays in about 2 1/2 hours. For the record, Janet won with a score of 46, Alan 38, David 28, Doug 25 & Julian 22. I intend for the game to be published before the end of the millennium. If people are interested then I can keep you posted regarding my progress with getting the game into print. Is anybody else out there trying to get a game published? David Coutts Doug Adams writes:- This week we played a game that we can't tell you about as it was a closed playtest session. We were playtesting a game that one of us hopes to publish sometime in the future. All I can say is the game is based on a very interesting subject, plays well, and uses some neat mechanics. I wish it every success. Doug
