New Vogue Championship Dances

In 2006 Russ rewrote this book, upgrading and updating the technique to take current trends in new vogue into account. Changes to six dances were approved by Dancesport Australia (DSA) prior to publication, maintaining the book's status as recognised and approved technique for the fifteen championship dances.

Colour pages and photos have been included (36 colour pages in 132 page book), and the book is now published in A5 landscape format for ease of handling on the dance floor.

The New Vogue Quickstep technique (a dance invented by Russ), is also included.

New vogue is Australian sequence dancing and is the third competitive style in Australia, attracting as many participants as standard  (modern ballroom) and Latin American.

  The book also has sections on music for new vogue dancing, leading and following, illustrations (photographs) and analysis of the body positions and holds, definitions of technical terms and explanation of chart headings.
