Voice Amplifier
Dick Smiths Electronics sells a kit called a Vader Voice kit. It retails for about $30.00. The kit number is K-3511 SC9/95.
I have never done anything electrical before and this was my first kit. I had no major hassles and the guys at Dick Smiths were more than happy to help out.
This will work OK but it all depends on the way you speak into it. I suggest you cover the microphone with foam and also muffle the speaker a with a cloth. You'll just have to experiment with it.
The other option (which is a bit expensive) is to buy an MP3 player and hook it up to a speaker. Record the breathing and some phrases on that and play it.
I'm also thinking of putting the Imperial March on the portable player aswell. Just for a bit of ego music for when I'm walking around.
