Musical Director: vacant - volunteers welcome
Our last MD has sadly left the band to further his busy professional music career. The band is currently looking for a new Musical Director.
Acting Musical Director: Vaughan Price
Vaughan is principal cornet in the band. A past cornet champion, he is also a great trumpet player, and for some years was lead trumpet in the Enormous Horns, of which he was a founding member. He has been in the band since tbd, and is Vice President of its Management Committee.
Vaughan is currently Acting Musical Director in the absence of a permanent.

Associate Musical Director: David Smart
David is currently on extended leave from the band because of work and other commitments, but is still conducting the band for some performances.
Prior to taking extended leave, David was Principal Horn in the band. An experienced amateur musician, he plays woodwind (flute, clarinet, saxophone), piano, organ and French horn, as well as several sizes of brass band instruments. He has been in the band since 1988, and is a member of its Management Committee.
David is a computer professional by trade, and a volunteer member of the NSW Rural Fire Service in his spare time. He is also site designer and webmaster and can be contacted via .
