Let's Get Started2. Floodfill with black. Rename it background in the layer pallet. Note you can use a different colour background if you wish, but remember that the gradients show up well against a dark background. 3. Open FGD(ddd) black & white image in PSP. 4. Add a new raster layer and name it gradient. 5. In the color pallet, choose a gradient of your choice and floodfill. ![]() 6. Masks, New from Image and select the FGB(ddd) which you opened earlier. Source luminance checked and invert mask data unchecked. Click ok. ![]() 7. Masks, Delete, Answer yes when asked if you wish to merge with the current layer. 8. In the layer palette click on the gradient layer. Effects, Simple, Quick Tile (this makes the gradient seamless). 9. Layers, Merge, Merge All (flatten). 10.
