The DOS Doctor’s Diary

Frontline Tales from a Melbourne Computer Consultant

Welcome to my diary of interesting computer solutions and the sometimes very challenging computer problems I have encountered over the years. In many cases the names of my clients have been changed to protect them from any embarrassment. Not every problem or situation discussed is necessarily approached in the classic text book manner and in many cases it is very easy to be wise after the event. Some problems are very time consuming to diagnose and the final solution is quite simple once the actual cause is clear.
