66 - the EIMCO

Loco 66, the EIMCO, is the newest loco on the Dutton Bay. The prototype is a modern 720 HP diesel-hydraulic used on the Queensland sugar cane railways. It is a cast body made by a colleague in Queensland, and running on a Bachmann F3 chassis. The prototype loco was much more modern than the DBT, but the addition of older-styled details, such as a single large headlight, has back-dated the unit to more closely resemble a 1970 locomotive.
