Short Tom 822 AF

The bulk of the passenger fleet is comprised of these Eggerbahn passenger cars. After replacing the end vestibules with end platforms, converting the long "saloon" windows by inserting additional verticals, and adding a water tank to the roof, the appearance of SAR Short Tom is easily achieved. Note the clear view through the car; this is perfectly correct as the prototype ran with longtidunial bench seating.

Since this photo was taken new cast "mansard" roofs have been added to the fleet, moving the appearance even more towards that of a Short Tom
