About Us

OBJECTIVES

■ To promote co-operation between ethnic communities on issues of common concern.

■ To ensure the right of ethnic communities to participate in decisions which affect them.

■ To encourage the development of ethnic organisations concerned with the social and cultural life of the communities.

■ To participate actively in the development of a pluralistic society in Australia.

■ To promote the welfare of the members of ethnic communities by all means possible.

 

MEMBERSHIP

Applications for membership of the Ethnic Communities Council of Newcastle and Hunter Region is open to organisations or groups or associate membership for individuals.

 

Membership fee for both is $22.00 per annum GST inclusive.
