My No 2 books have been completely re-vamped and 'computerised', and I took out a few tunes and put in new ones - so the index now has 397 tunes.
The No 2 Bb Lead Book is now complete, and matches up with Chord Book 2 exactly.
There's now a No 2 Bass Clef Lead Book in Concert Pitch in response to the many requests from Trombone and Tuba players too.

Bb Lead books are suitable for Trumpet, Clarinet, Soprano Sax, Tenor Sax etc., and have lead lines only, ie chord symbols are not included on them. Australian jazz musicians seem equally divided as to whether they want Transposed Chords or Concert Pitch and it is just too much work to make and stock books with either. The books were always intended for band use, ie Chord Book for Rhythm players and Bb Lead Book for the Lead Horn.
'New' Chord Book Two is $35 and has chord sequences for 397 tunes.
'New' Bb Lead Book Two is $75 and matches up with New Chord Book Two.
The original handwritten No 1 Chord Book and No 1 Lead Book are still available in their original form. They are full A4 size, spiral bound in stiff covers, and contain 'Standard Repertoire' Traditional & Dixieland jazz numbers, plus popular show tunes, swing numbers, ballads etc. Also, No 1 Chord and Lead Books have a full 'Barn Dance Set' for those dance jobs. If the New books don't suffer the previous piracy, the No 1 books may soon be 'computerised' too...
Chord Book One is $35 and has Chord Sequences for 372 tunes.
Lead Book One is $75 and matches Chord Book One.
