Ted and Winsome Walmsley, hosts of the speciosum spectacular, wish all who attend this years display to gather for a great social week-end at the Fountain on the Mountain - Kempsey Heights Bowling Club - one of our major sponsors each year.
Great bistro meals are available - the beer and drinks are superb - a wonderful place for all lovers of orchids to gather, especially if you grow the King of them ALL - Dendrobium speciosum.
Friday 2nd September:
5:30 pm Meet for dinner at Kempsey Heights Bowling Club.
7:30 pm ANOS Mid-North Coast Group monthly meeting at the club. Guest Speakers Alwyn Flanagan & Bill Dobson.
Saturday 3rd September:
9:00 am Bushwalk in the Kempsey area, led by Dennis Sinclair and John Riley. Leave from 57 Spooners Avenue, Kempsey.
6:00 pm Presentation Dinner and entertainment at Kempsey Height Bowling Club.
Sunday 4th September:
Full day field trip in the Comboyne area, led by Alwyn Flanagan. Time and meeting location to be advised.
Monday 5th September:
Field trip to Petroi Plateau in Point lookout area. Accommodation available at Bass Lodge. Essential to contact Ted Walmsley for details and to book (ph: 02 6562 7150).
