| This is just a rough
guide to some of the materials that I used to make the "Fractionator". Whenever I have mentioned the specific place I've bought
certain items, I've also tried to provide some kind of contact address whenever
possible. My giving out addresses shouldn't be seen as an endorsement of these
businesses, but rather an attempt to make things easier for those people wishing to use
some of the same materials that I've used.

The black and yellow base is made of masonite, but you could use plywood or craftwood. I wouldn't recommend foam core as a base because it is too fragile and will look tatty in no time. The different levels on the tower were made of foam core. |

The main tower was made using a cardboard mailing tube. All the strutwork and the two pipes coming out of the mailing tube were made using styrene strips, angles and piping. |
|
| I bought the styrene angles and strips from Hobbyco
in Sydney Australia www.hobbyco.com.au |

The walls of the bottom of the "Fractionator" are made of foam core and are covered with "Wild walls" Wild walls are made by Sci Fi Supplies in Kissamee Florida USA.

![]() I bought the wild walls from The Tin Soldier in Sydney Australia www.tinsoldier.com |
The wild walls are made of "vacuformed" plastic and are quite thin, making them easy to cut and use Wild walls also make bunkers and other types of walls. Some of the other walls they make could be used as scenery that would be suitable for Tyrannids or Chaos.

The condensers on the top of the tower were made from left over parts from a WWII Africa Korps Half track plastic kit. |

The carboard tube end was filled in
using plaster of paris in the bottom of the tube. |

![]() Vitamin container tubes |
The small tower was made using a vitamin container. The pipe coming out of the top of the tower is a flexible drinking straw. The base of the tower is an empty ink jet cartridge packet. The insulators that are attatched to the cartridge packet are drawing pins with paper clip wire coming out of them to the vitamin tube. |
