This is more of a conversion than a scratch built peice of scenery and it is intended as a rough guide to some of the materials that I used to make the "Gas Processor".

Whenever I have mentioned the specific place I've bought certain items, I've also tried to provide some kind of contact address whenever possible.  My giving out addresses shouldn't be seen as an endorsement of these businesses, but rather an attempt to make things easier for those people wishing to use some of the same materials that I've used.

The black and yellow base is made of  craftwood (MDF board), but you could use plywood or masonite.

I wouldn't recommend foam core as a base because it is too fragile and will look tatty in no time.

The dome and grey areas with the strut work are made from a prefabricated "vacu-formed" product from Sci Fi Supplies in Kissamee Florida USA.

I bought the dome from The Tin Soldier in Sydney Australia

Solid plexiglass rods were chosen for the pipes as they are easy to bend with heat and don't collapse at the bend like hollow styrene does.

The "drip free pour spout" from an olive oil bottle was glued into the Electrical conduit to make it look like an exhaust fan,

A salvaged IC chip from a computer game was glued to the empy inkjet cartridge to look like  control screen Control panel made from computer chip
