The dripping blood was made with fuse wire that had
been glued into holes drilled up the finger tips.
The dripping effect was made with EVA glue.
Notice also that Laurie has blackened the area on the base
around the foot to show that the Avatar is so hot that it
burns the ground as it comes into contact with it.
There is also red on the base to show where
the blood is dripping to.
