Loving Everyone

Sometimes people abused Thomas;

He got hurt.

Thomas looked for a defence;

He retaliated.

Sometimes the abusers won the fight;

He still got hurt.

Thomas looked for new ways;

He tried to be good to everyone.

Some people were kind to him in return;

Thomas felt good.

Others took advantage of him;

Thomas felt bad.

Thomas looked for new ways;

He learned to analyze people.

Thomas is taking a long time to learn;

He is getting more accurate.

Now Thomas mingles with good people and avoids bad ones;

He feels better.

At times his analysis is wrong;

Sometimes Thomas still gets hurt.
