fight with kidney disease, and partial recovery,</div> <div> cancer finally took her from us.</div> <bR> <div> The onset of the cancer was very fast, and although</div> <div> everything possible was done to try and pull her through this one,</div> <div> Juney finally gave up on the 25th February, 2004.</div> <bR> <div> Her absence will remind us that this was one hell of a</div> <div> greyhound.  Her determination and her will to please</div> <div> will stay in our hearts forever.</div> <bR> <div> She has left us with a legacy of  3 beautiful black pups,</div> <div> who, I am sure, will do dear friend of ours - who is responsible for introducing</div> <div> us to greyhounds - but she is considered one of the family.</div> <bR> <div> Her mother is <B>Kissy Bear</B> - who is also the mother of<B> Bearability, Chief Wigam, </B></div> <div> <B>Swift Paws and Kissy's Babe</B>.  </div> <bR> <div> She is a litter sister to <B>Foxborough, Honcho Bear, Head Bear</B> and</div> <div> <B>Head Direct </B>(who is the dam of the current promising pup <B>Cool Kissy</B>.)</div> <bR> <div> It is hoped in the  future that June will be well enough to have her own litter </div> <div> of puppies. </div> <bR> <div> June is a young retired racing Greyhound. Because of her brilliant </div> <div> breeding she was being prepared to become a brood bitch - </div> <div> until Christmas 2000.</div> <div>  </div> <div> June was admitted to the Vet Hospital with kidney failure. </div> <div> She was worked on and observed around the clock by vets for 4 weeks. </div> <div> At the end of this time her condition had still not shown enough </div> <div> improvement to indicated that she would pull through. </div> <div> It was becoming a fruitless effort.</div> <bR> <div> Faced with the choice of having her put down or bringing her home to try </div> <div> other alternatives, it was decided to bring her home and try herbal remedies. </div> <div> The herbal remedies pulled her through.
