What began as relatively cheap garage art has now turned into a mildly addictive hobby. You see, amongst the box of old plates I purchased for the garage wall (back in 2003), we found a novel bear shaped plate from Northwest Territory (NWT) Canada. This innocuous little 1977 bear plate became the first of many. We now have all types of bears walking the walls of the computer room.
I have been riding motorcycles (mc's) on and off for the past 20 years. During this time I have owned several bikes, the last being a little Harley 1200 sporty. So I guess it was a natural progression to collect NWT mc plates (which have now become my primary collection). Overall, our collection focuses on the following:
NWT (mc, low number passenger, samples and speciality plates (Hams, crowns etc); |
Yukon (samples & low number passenger ) up to 1977; |
Nunavut (any plates). |
If you have any plates for sale or trade which fall into these categories, please feel free to drop us a line. Don't forget to look at the Pl8s "For Sale" & "Wanted" Pages.
