1953 Wheaties Plates Foreign Sets of Plates
1. The Old World Plates
There were originally 10 plates offered in the Old World Set. These consisted of Denmark, Egypt, Iran, Italy Military, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Portugal, Switzerland and Turkey. The bonus Maharajah Plate is displayed at the bottom right of the Old World plate set below.
2. Islands & Territories
There were originally 10 plates in the Island & Territories set. These plates consisted of Alaska, Canal Zone, Cuba, Dominica Republic, Guam, Hawaii, Northwest Territories (NWT), Philippine Islands, Virgin Islands, Yukon Territory. However you can see the Alaska & Hawaii plates in the US Plate Set and the NWT & Yukon Territories in the Canadian Plate Set (which is reflective of the world today).
3. Canadian
There were originally 10 plates in the '53 Canadian set. These plates consists of Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec and Saskatchewan. The NWT and Yukon Territory plates are shown here instead of being in the Island & Territory set above.
